Date and Venue

Vigyan Bhavan, India's premier conference centre is located in the heart of New Delhi. Vigyan Bhavan has been the venue of many historic summits, seminars and conferences attended by distinguished world leaders, dignitaries, scientists and technologists.

Over the years, the Petrotech series of Conferences and Exhibitions has created opportunities for both small and large companies in reaching the target audiences of industry decision-makers. In conjunction with the conference, the Petrotech-2012 Exhibition will be held during 14th-17th October 2012 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, and will offer world-class facilities to showcase the entire gamut of opportunities in the hydrocarbon industry at one place.

The conference venue, Vigyan Bhavan, is a short walk from the exhibition centre. It has been the site for many historic summits, seminars, and conferences attended by distinguished world leaders, dignitaries, scientists and technologists. Close proximity to Delhi’s central business district and scenic imperial vistas add to the forum’s intellectual charm.

The best time to visit Delhi is between October and February. A vibrant mélange of influences, the capital is a multidimensional metropolis. Captivating ancient monuments, magnificent museums, and a vibrant performing arts scene add to the mystique of one of the world’s oldest cities. As English is widely spoken in India, you can navigate through the jumble of vernaculars in any city. Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu are widely spoken.

October is mixed weather in Delhi; transitions from the monsoon to winter can be stark, so carry clothes for both seasons. Carry denim lowers, T-shirts as well as mufflers, caps, socks, gloves, scarves and woolen clothing.

Due to an overwhelming response for Petrotech-2010, the show-floor area of Petrotech-2010 is being expanded to accommodate demand from international manufacturers, technology and service providers.

As a global platform, Petrotech-2012 offers an opportunity for thought leader to network and understand the latest processes, state-of-the-art technology and efficient services not only from leading petroleum sector companies and suppliers but also from other industries such as petrochemicals, fertilizers, etc. A separate pavilion on ‘Renewable Energy’ will be an added event attraction. The exhibition is managed by an internationally reputed professional organiser.
